The Year so Far

It's January 20, 2000 -- and I'm here without any major gripe. Truth is, I've been spending most of my online time the past few weeks catching up for the last 13 years with a dear old friend. That's a long time -- almost an entire third of my life so far. My daughter, my entire marital history, our 10 year class reunion, a lot has happend. But stuff from church is breezing past, political stupidty (Yeah right, Hillary), local social turmoil (please Jesse, go home and leave us alone!!!), I even have a job interview tomorrow -- and I'm to much in this bubble of history to really get to anxious about it. Really, I feel like I've been unusually perky the past 2 weeks -- amazing for me. Maybe I should go looking for other old friends -- anyone know where I can find Tina Kuzenka? Anyone talk to Phil Flannigan or Kevin Ames? Pam Lockwood? If any of you folks are doing searches on your names, feel free to drop me a line sometime.

I know I already gushed about her in the World of Music, but I just can't get enough of Ginny Owen's Without Condition. Even if you don't think you'd like a Christian artist, you should listen to this album.

Give me time, I'm sure I'll be my normal grumpy self eventually.
