The last day of vacation...

Here we are at Omaha. We're still over 2 hours behind - but there is one last train leaving Chicago for home after we get there, so we should be OK. I hope.

We're stopped at the famous hometown of the fictional Radar O'Rielly.

This is not the engine pulling our train, we have 2 modern diesels pulling us. This was a tribute to the Burlington Northern in one of the small towns we went through.

Well, we're almost home. Finally. We got our tickets switched to the last train, boarded it and headed home. But we did get a nice view of the tallest building in the US...
