Catching up -- again

I recently FTP'd my entire site back to my PC, partially to have a copy in case of disaster, partially to find which files have been hopefully corrupted, but mainly to have a good starting place to try to update the whole mess. I think it's been 2 years since I've made any significant updates to my personal site, what with all the other stuff in the way. So I'm actually making some progress - I updated my personal info section, my PC section, and a few tweaks to the main page. I also just reviewed the Soapbox section of the page (the part that has been effectively replaced by this very blog). There's stuff in there dating back 12 years (well, 12 years in November) so it's like a little time capsule revealing my growing up and becoming a conservative Republican kind of guy. I'm also considering using blogger to do my movie reviews (the original purpose of this site) - after I figure out how to tweak the layout a little more.
