On the road again...

Friday...

So, here we are on our way to Branson again. We stopped at this rest area so the kids could stretch their legs, and so we could use the facilities. I decided we'd try going around St. Louis instead of through it this time. Bad idea -- traffic was backed up on I270 for almost an hour -- all because of a cherry picker underneath a bridge. We did manage to drive past a couple of Harley dealers, so I was able to indulge in my new past time -- collecting Harley T-shirts. We made it to Branson about 7:00 pm, but took us 30 minutes to get from one side to the other. They really need to come up with some new ideas for dealing with traffic in this town, it was the dead time when we last came here, so it wasn't too hard to get around -- this time it's just awful. Anyway, we went to the time share office, got our reservations for our hotel, checked in, then had supper at Steak 'n' Shake. Now it's after 10pm, and I'm typing this poolside while Laura's swimming...
