Not really worth it...

Slate has finally got their comment system working (or maybe I just finally found a backdoor method to get logged in, one of the two). I commented on an article about racist trademarks -- they said the U of I was persuaded to give up Chief Illiniwek, and I pointed out it was actually blackmail (pretty much the argument from a post earlier here). Needless to say, some empty headed, liberal, left-wing, politically correct windbag started spouting off. You know, disagree with me if you will -- I'm not always right, and many issues have many sides -- but don't call me stupid because I don't spout your rhetoric. I'm 40+ years old with an IQ just under genius level -- I'm far from stupid, and have managed to accumulate some wisdom during my lifetime.

Which is why I'm letting the raving lunatic have the argument -- I made my point, and I'm not going to look stupid by arguing with a dolt. I believe it was Mark Twain who said it was better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're an fool than to open your mouth and prove it...
